This position is responsible for helping our Water Resources leadership with project delivery.
HYDROLOGY/ HYDRAULICS ENGINEER-IN-TRAINING
Job Duties

Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models
-
Develop hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, and designs
-
Assist in the preparation of reports, documentation and exhibits to support analysis
-
Prepare application packages for submittal to agencies
-
Address comments, coordinate with governing agencies, obtain report approvals
-
Attend and contribute to project progress meetings
-
Feasibility investigations
-
Learn and develop skill sets
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
-
Texas Registered E.I.T. preferred (must pass within 1 year of employment)

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
-
Highly motivated to meet client deadlines
-
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
-
Adaptable and eager to learn tasks outside of previous skill set or experience
Software
-
HEC-RAS preferred
-
HEC-HMS preferred
-
XP-SWMM or similar software preferred
-
GIS experience (ArcMap/Pro) preferred
-
MS Word, Excel (with formulas), Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred.

AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
