Ryan joined Blackline in 2026 as a partner, owner, and Executive Chairman, bringing more than two decades of executive leadership building and scaling people-first service organizations. Most recently, he served as President of Ethos Veterinary Health, a network of specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals in the US and Canada. Across every organization he has led, Ryan’s approach has been the same: invest in great people, give them the tools to do their best work, and growth will follow.
At Blackline, Ryan’s focus is on supporting the leadership team and helping the company scale while preserving the collaborative, client-first culture that has earned the trust of developers, municipalities, and communities across the Houston market. He works closely with the executive team on strategy, growth, and the investments in people and resources that keep Blackline delivering top-tier service on every project.
Ryan has held leadership and board roles with organizations across the United States, Australia, and New Zealand, including serving as Chairman of the Board of Sterling Group and as a board member of the Bright Like Lucy Foundation. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
